Another great Ink Drop from Goulet Pens!
- Diamine Amazing Amethyst
- Faber-Castell Garnet Red
- Pelikan Edelstein Topaz (Blue)
- Pelikan Edelstein Jade (Green)
- Diamine Onyx Black
Here’s the Ink Drop Doodle: I used all the inks in this drop separately (did not mix), Sakura Pigma Microns for outlining, Prismacolor Markers in grey tones for the skin/hair tones on SN2 paper*. Crystal Gem Princess :)
So many pretty jewel tones! I was excited that 2 Pelikan Edelstein inks came in this drop, I’ve always wanted to try this brand and I really enjoyed both colors!
I inked up 5 of my fountain pens for this one, since I loved all the inks in this drop! Seriously, I couldn’t pick a favorite!
The paper towel swab gradient was pretty :)
Here’s the swatches, scanned and photographed:
(I had to adjust the color of the scan of Diamine Amazing Amethyst because my scanner picked up so much blue, it actually looked like a dark blue ink & the swatches photo graphed with flash appear lighter)
This was a really nice theme with some fun inks to try out! If I had to lean toward a favorite, it would be a toss between both Pelikan Edelstein Jade and Topaz!
What are your favorites from this month’s Ink Drop?
Thank you for reading/looking! :)

(Images scanned in with minimal level adjustment (unless noted) and photos taken with Samsung NX mini (with and without flash). Ink swatches are done on Maruman Mnemosyne Word cards with a dip pen and Tachikawa Comic Nib G. As with any ink scans and/or photos I try to be consistent in color. What you see on your monitor might not be the actual color, but it should be a fairly close representation.)
